“Dedication involves making the space to let young ideas take hold; every tree was once a seed and every company was once an idea."
With this very thought, Crosslinks, the face of NSIT, was started three years ago, with a vision for the institute, with a hope for a dazzling future, and with a dedication to make NSIT known to one and all. And to this day, the society functions on the same motto, working ad infinitum to bring the world face to face with “brand NSIT”. From numerous articles in newspapers, to live coverage of cultural fests on national television, Crosslinks has finally got out of its groove as not just a media management society, but also as a forum which students trust and rely on.

NSITLounge.in Forums with 6,823 members, 51,682 posts, (and growing!) is the most popular online discussion platform for NSIT students and CEE aspirants alike. According to Alexa.com, in the month of June 08, the site ranked among the top 70,000 websites on the internet which makes it one of the top Student forums across the globe! It also ranks 32,146 in India.
Being the oldest discussion platform for NSIT students and those wanting to get into NSIT, the forums serve as a priceless repository of CEE counselling and college life information. Since the forums are a community effort, the latest information inevitably reaches NSITLounge be it about IIM calls or about the love affairs on campus.
NSITLounge.in, the portal to the forums, also informs visitors about latest information about the events going on at NSIT or about the achievements made by the students of NSIT.
NSITonline.in is an initiative to create a web image of NSIT. It provides an overwiev of life at NSIT and all the activities that are the buzz of the campus. Moreover, its an initiative to provide a platform to students to have a first hand experience of web development and management.
Ironically enough, it owes its genesis to the official website of the institute, www.nsit.ac.in. Taking umbrage at the oft neglected, dismal looking website, a group of self-driven students endeavored to give NSIT a web presence worthy of its stature, and NSITonline.in was thus born. Facing a daunting task ahead, these students explored and researched the field of web development extensively. As a result of their unyielding persistence, the college got the premier version of its alternate website.
But expectations rise as time passes. Not content with the limitations faced in coding from scratch, they shifted focus to Joomla, the award winning CMS. The team also expanded intelligently in keeping with the increasing demands of the website. The current website is a product of constant redesigning and renovation, in sync with feedback received. NSITonline team focuses on catering to students' needs while automating the labor intensive aspects of the website and providing means for easier navigation. Constantly working their innovative minds in searching for ways to enhance the website and create engaging content , the NSITonline webteam derives pride in making the website, an indispensable part of every NSITian's life.
With the goal of making the website the most visible face of NSIT, www.nsitonline.in is in short a work in progress.
Every single step with the right motive in the right direction leads to big differences. With this vision in our eyes and the earnest desires to address the issues gripping our society from time and burgeoning day by day, we wanted to get the answere to the endless debates our own way!
What role do we play in making world a better place to live in?? How do we bring more equality and justice to those less fortunate than us?? how do we obtain the support of our counterparts to deliver their best in all they do- with an urge to serve others alive in their hearts???
We believe nation building is a collective process, and not an individual one.. In the neighbourhood project, yhrough our small endeavours we search for the answers to these questions.. We feel it is our social responsibility to value the lives of others, and bring about a necessary change by dedicating a small portion of our lives to them.
We hold workshops for slum children, we organise collection drives, we spread awareness about the problems of the society, we interact with poor and try to provide technial solutions to them.
With this and more, search for the answers is still on, and will go on! These activities leave us socially more sensitive and sound!
Bit by bit, 'the neighbourhood Project' has touched upon many lives in the past and will continue to do so in the near future!

"If music be the food of love, play on…..This famous quote by Shakespeare signifies great power of music. Music which transcends all barriers of boundaries and differences. NSIT for long has nurtured art, music and culture through clubs, festivals and competitions and through the great support of our Faculty. We Nsitians love our music. We work hard, achieve our goals and then release ourselves TO the ultimate joy of Music. Nsit is brimming with musical talent, we have many great guitarists, drummers, tabla players and soloists and we have created some real good music whether it is at Resonanz or at Moksha or separate special musical evenings which are held often.
Like it is often said “all one requires is Passion”…all it requires to enter “Crescendo” The Music society of NSIT is passion for music…Because that’s what Crescendo is all about.
