Training

Practical training forms an integral part of our students’ overall development as an engineer. In the course of four years at NSIT, students belonging to various departments i.e. Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing Processes & Automation Engineering and Bio Technology- undergo four rounds of training, both within and outside the institute. As part of the curriculum, arrangements are made for the students to undergo practical training during summer and winter breaks in Multinational/Private/Public Sector Undertakings/Government Department as well as Laboratories of the Institute. Many prominent organizations and multi-national companies visit our campus on a regular basis to take interns in their ongoing projects. This facilitates a healthy student-industry interaction which benefits both parties in the long run.

Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) between NSIT and some of the world’s leading universities such as the University of Western Australia, n plus I, France etc. have also been signed and student exchange programs are regularly held in which many students from NSIT go to these universities as interns.
