The College runs a Book Bank (within the compounds of the library) intended to assist students, from the economically weaker sections of society, and those from the SC/ST category by giving text books on loan to students for the whole academic semester. After a certain duration of time(generally 2 weeks),the book bank caters to general category students as well.
A piece of advise- Be prepared to stand in serpentile queues to avail its facilities.
The process of acquiring books from the book bank is simple.
- All you need to do is write an application mentioning your name,roll number,the names of the books required.
- Submit the application at the book bank counter.
- You will be assigned a serial no. maintaining your status in the waiting list for the book bank.
Upon your turn, you are free to explore the book bank for the required books and subsequently get them issued.
