Libraries are the backbone of any academic institution, same goes for NSIT. It acquires a prominent place amongst the students and faculty . This is the central place for all academic and research activities. It has an extensive collection of relevant books and journals, not to mention computer facilities ( though a tad ancient) as well. Keeping in view the fast changes in technology, the knowledge base of the library is updated regularly by way of adding newer literature in form of text books, reference books, reports, proceedings etc.
How do I apply for a library card ?
Students wishing to receive a library card need to fill out an application form which can be obtained from the library itself upon showing identification in the form of your ID card.
The application requires you to fill in personal details like name, roll no., department, category etc. Submit the filled form and you will be assigned a serial number signifying your status in the waiting list of all the applicants. So the earlier you go, the lesser the hassle!
As library cards are issued, your status will keep getting updated. Keep checking regularly from the library staff for your current status.
